Marika Puicher was born in 1979. She studied reportage and visual communication in Milan. She started working as a freelance photographer in 2010, focusing on social issues. Currently she lives in Bologna and is represented by Parallelozero Agency.

2012 3rd prize Portfolio Citerna Prize with the project “For the children's sake”, about the terrorist attacks in Italy.

2015 Winner The Pride Photo Award 2015 with the project “Ella (She)”.

2015 2nd prize The Pride Photo Award 2015,  “Stories of love and Pride” category, with the project "Solo".
